Thanks a lot for this info. This seems working for now at least. But it needs to be enabled on every wireless or Ethernet connection which is something you should not forget to set or you are doomed. Regularly backup my system via Acronis in case something goes wrong. Hopefully I will never forced to update as updates only kill the system for me most of the time.
Is this possible? If so, could you direct me to instructions windows 10 notify before downloading updates GPO settings? I did some reasearch and it looks like the only way to disable Windows 10 updates is by disabling the Windows Update service.
